Everywhere all around me everyone is caught up in love....and when i say caught up..i mean just that...

It being that particular time of year when everyone is lost in the haze of 'valentine's day'...and the fairytale that surrounds it.......it takes me down memory lane...

When i was a kid...in those volcanic teens...valentines day used to be D-day!!...id wait with bated breath to see if id get a V-day card....
But that is a tricky age...especially since there are few (....read none!!) persons who'd ask a walking ball with a nerdy look (...umm..tat about describes what i looked like then....heheheh)
to be their valentine!!

Anyway...id wait in vain...year after year....and then..i got so desperate i sent myself a card!!

Yeah..thinking back it does make me smile....it makes me look with awe at where i am today.....

It makes me aware...that i have a responsibility to my fellow travelers....and my children.

especially my children....i need to let them know that they are loved...unconditionally...

..no matter what day it is...

we need to let them learn from us that love.....is independent of appearances....social status....intelligence...

that they are loved.....not for what they do...but because they simply are themselves.


And my fellow travelers...my companions.......everyday...is valentines day....cause everyday....i celebrate YOU......and the LOVE that we share.
