When you dive into a swimming pool....there is this diving board that gives you the necessary thrust you need to get started and jump...into the pool.

I have been told that the first dive is the hardest...cause jumping off the diving board is a little scary..i mean you have to trust the instructor...and believe that you are in good hands... :-/

But if you keep holding onto the diving board....you just AREN"T going to learn how to swim...you have to JUMP OFF the diving board...YOU have to do it....to learn the art of swimming...

Life is a lil like this....

God has blessed each of us with friends....teachers....people who really love and care about us....but we dont live life by holding onto them.....i know it feels safe to just be with them...we feel all secure and inspired....like being on the diving board... :)

To really be alive we have to propel ourselves off the diving board......stop clinging to those who love us...stop leaning onto them... but trust our Life guard and take that jump!!

After all....God is our lifeguard...He is watching over you every second.....He knows you need to learn..but when you are in difficulty He will guide you ....and when you are drowning...(...u think u are!!).....He will hold you to Himself...and lift you UP....out of the waters.....

We find it easier...to stay where we feel safe...to bask in the love and inspiration from our loves and friends.....but that isn't why we are here ... . is it??!

We have to dive into the lessons of life....leave the diving board free for those who come after us!!! :)

And then one day you will have learnt how to swim...and then you can enjoy the swim....everyday....

We are here not only to learn...we are here to enjoy the life that we have been gifted with...learning is part of the enjoyment..

So lets each of us take a closer look ...on the diving board that we are holding onto....the diving board will always be there...to propel us onwards... :)


So my dears....JUMP OFF the diving board..into the waters.....and...be ALIVE!!!
