I had a lovely day today. I spent it with friends....friends ive known for some time now..but was able to meet up with only today...

It was very sweet the way i felt...surrounded by love...real love. It made me realise that true love...real love gives of itself..not in material things...but just of itself.

Very often we try to express our love for those we think we love by giving them gifts...or 'things'..which will somehow make up for the lack of time...to really be with them...or spend time with them...Every time we feel we have let someone down...we...try to substitute it with ...something.

It might give all concerned momentary pleasure or satisfaction....but its soon forgotten..because there isnt love attached with it...when you give someone something its usually attached with the thought 'umm...what am i going to get in return??!'

Real love is spelled T-I-M-E...

...so the next time you wanna show someone you love them...dont reach for your wallet...!

But..take a lil time off..even a few minutes are priceless....and tell them that you really love them enough to give them a lil of yourself...your time.
